This beautiful mountain village of Moorish style, at 40 km. San Juan de los Terreros, is a tourist attraction because of the unique bendy shopping alleys, which are built on a hillside and are therefore all on different levels. Downstairs is the resort of Mojacar with its sandy beaches, restaurants and many discos.


Garrucha is a modern port and is also called sol y gambas sun and shrimp. Garrucha revolves mainly around fishing. During the weekly Friday market, you can also own fresh fish and seafood, but also buy fruit, vegetables and clothes. Garrucha is a must for all lovers of seafood, a great place to watch the cruisers and fishing boats.

Cuevas del Almanzora

At 25 km. San Juan de Los Terreros is Cuevas de Almanzora. One can find several attractions: Castle of Villaricos, Church of the Rebirth, rock houses (to the public), a dam, archaeological remains ….
